I purchased this for my 5 yr old nephew on his birthday. I was relieved to see that it came nicely boxed, suitable for gifting. The batteries came partially charged so he was able to use it immediately. It's a pretty cool little truck. it’s runs over rocks and asphalt like nothing I’ve seen before. It charges fairly quickly (about 20 minutes) the back up battery is really handy and easy to swap out. The truck itself as a quality look and feel to it. The controller is the perfect size for a little hands and very lightweight. also easy to use and maneuver. The perfect choice for his age. And a terrific price!
